DEs will have the opportunity to travel to Africa in June of 2019 with CU Difference Co Founder, Lois Kitsch

In June of 2017, 15 DEs from the United States and the Caribbean traveled to beautiful Kenya for a DE exposure tour. While in country, our groups planted pineapple along local farmers, networked with African DEs at the ACCOSCA International DE Workshop, soared in a hot air balloon across the Masai Mara and saw countless animals in their natural habitat.

On May 30th, 2018, DEs from around the globe will travel to Zimbabwe for a second African DE exposure tour and workshop. The traveling group will network and workshop with African DES while seeing the amazing Victoria Falls and other local sites. On June 6th, the group will travel to Kenya where they will complete a DE project with a local school for children with disabilities, head to the Mara on Safari, visit saccos (African Credit Unions) and visit the capital city Nairobi.
